MANILA, Philippines — Skyway Stage 3 new northbound exit ramp on Quezon Ave. extension is now open to motorists.
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) chairman and CEO Ramon Ang said the ramp, which allows motorists to return to ground level near the Maria Clara St. junction of Araneta Ave., is now operational as of 6 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Article continues after this advertisement“We’re opening the Maria Clara exit just in time for the last long weekend of the year when many of our countrymen are traveling for New Year’s celebrations,” Ang said in a statement.

The Philippine Hotel Owners Association Inc. (PHOA) revealed their target on Wednesday, October 16, during the official unveiling of the Philippine Hotel Industry Strategic Action Plan (PHISAP) 2023-2028 at the Westin Manila Hotel in Ortigas.
Skyway patrollers and road safety personnel were also deployed to guide motorists using the new exit, according to Ang.
Article continues after this advertisementAng also clarified that the Quezon Avenue extension exit will not incur any additional toll and will have the same toll rate as the Quezon Avenue northbound exit.
Article continues after this advertisementHe then thanked the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) for issuing an interim permit to operate the exit after notifying SMC on Dec. 27 that it had sufficiently complied with requirements.

Skyway Stage 3 connects the Skyway System from Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City to Balintawak in Quezon City, where it links with the North Luzon Expressway.
